Is deal activity still accelerating?

The evidence supports an active but uneven market, not a guaranteed growth trajectory. PPA's 4 November 2026 briefing describes a slowdown in major bilateral agreements after an April list containing 75 deals. This is a trade-body observation and tracker count, not a global census or disclosed-dollar series. PPA AI Licensing Briefing issue 4, 4 November 2026

Use three separate indicators in your own monitoring:

  1. Procurement evidence: a named team, stated requirement, relevant archive fit, budget status and next decision date.
  2. Commercial conversion: evaluated samples becoming executed licences and executed licences becoming collected cash.
  3. Operational cost: preparation hours, rights exceptions, update obligations and support costs per successful licence.

An increase in bot requests belongs in an access-management report. It is not evidence that those bots will pay your proposed price. A new marketplace belongs in a channel register until it produces a qualified enquiry. A financing round belongs in a corporate-activity register, not a licence-revenue total.
